155th soldiers recognized
The 155th National Guard is set to deploy in May. The Times will publish a special page(s) on Wednesday, April 29, to show our appreciation. If you have a loved one who is being deployed, send them your message of love and support with an ad in next week’s edition. In an attempt to compile a collage of photos, we welcome you to submit a photo of your family soldier, in uniform. Pictures can be emailed to times@itawamba360.com or brought by our office at 106 West Main Street. Contact The Times at 862-3141 for more information. Deadline is Monday, April 27, by noon.
Correction
Incorrect information appeared in the ICC scholarship article which was in the April 15 edition. Aquino Jones was listed as to be an usher and mentor at A Way Out. His information should have said he is a member of the youth choir, male choir and Drill Drama Team at Pine Grove MB Church in Dorsey. The Times regrets the error.
Relay event
The Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Steel Magnolias will host a crawfish boil at the Fulton Relay for Life event on Friday, April 24, at the ICC football field. Crawfish will be available beginning at 6 p.m. and will cost $10 per plate.
Proceeds will go to Itawamba County Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Plant sale
The Itawamba Master Gardener’s Plant Sale Saturday, April 25, 10:00 a.m. on Court Square during the Sweet Tea Festival.
