CORINTH, Miss. (AP) — Two Tennessee men have been charged with selling stolen vehicles to an Alcorn County scrap metal dealer.

Sheriff’s investigator Reggie Anderson tells the Daily Corinthian that Robert Young Jackson and Adam Stanley Young, both of Huron, Tenn., are each charged with six counts of disposing stolen property. They are being held without bond in the county jail.

Anderson says McNairy County, Tenn., authorities contacted the sheriff’s office earlier this month after finding that a locally stolen car matched one that had been sold to Vanderford Scrap Metal.

Investigators ran the vehicle identification number and confirmed it was the stolen car.

Anderson says five more stolen vehicles from Tennessee were found.

Anderson says Jackson and Young were arrested when they arrived in another vehicle.

He says the investigation continues.
