JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — With no arrest made in three months since a man and a woman were found murdered in their Utica home, an award is now being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
The Clarion-Ledger reports (http://on.thec-l.com/NhAU5y ) that the Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information that will lead to an arrest in the double murder of Barbara Raines, 50, and Robert Varnum, 57, on March 31.
Both had been shot and appeared to have been dead for several days.
Officials say Raines and Varnum frequented the Utica, Edwards and Vicksburg areas.
