A 66-year-old man is facing possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute charges after his arrest Monday by the Lee County Sheriffs Department.
Malone Gillespie of 110 Stanley Ave., Apartment #2, Verona was arrested after a search warrant was conducted at the residence.
Agents discovered several individually packaged crack cocaine rocks inside Gillespie’s apartment during the search warrant, according to the Sheriffs department.
Agents also served him with two arrest warrants for the sale of crack cocaine as the result of this investigation.
These charges could possibly be enhanced due to the fact of the proximity of Gillespie’s residence to the Verona Elementary School.
