TREMONT – Access Family Health Services will share its new home with the public at an open house at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The new clinic on state Highway 23 North is near the community health center’s former home, but it has three times the space. The clinic typically serves 400 to 500 patients a month.
The clinic’s new home was built in part with $549,000 in federal stimulus grants. U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker and U.S. Rep. Alan Nunnelee, both R-Miss., are scheduled to be a part of Sunday’s open house, which will continue until 4:30 p.m.
Access Family Health Services has four health centers in Houlka, Smithville, Tremont and Tupelo. The clinics also offer community-based outpatient services for veterans.
