Airport looks at land for future development

TUPELO – The Tupelo Airport Authority met briefly on Tuesday, going into executive session almost immediately.
After the meeting, Authority Chairman Dan Kellum said the board had “declared some land as a surplus to the aeronautical use of the airport.”
He declined to provide additional details, but said that the land, already owned by the airport, would be put to “higher and better use.”
