Alcorn, Farmington work on vicious dogs

By NEMS Daily Journal

CORINTH – Alcorn County supervisors authorized the sheriff and county attorney to work with the city of Farmington on an interlocal agreement to pick up vicious dogs in the county.
Sheriff Charles Rinehart told supervisors on Monday that in the past week deputies had been on calls about eight times to situations involving vicious dogs, animals that are being picked up on warrants from justice court.
Farmington officials have indicated a willingness to have the town’s animal control officer pick up the animals for the county for a reasonable fee.
