Amory man arrested, charged with felony breaking and entering

AMORY – Robert Glynn Simpson, Jr., 19, Amory, was arrested by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department on June 7 and charged with felony breaking and entering of a dwelling in addition to misdemeanor charges of petit larceny and malicious mischief, according to a statement from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Simpson is alleged to have entered an unoccupied residence in the Bigbee community.

At press time, he was being held at the Monroe County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
