HAMILTON – An arrest has been made in the death of an Amory man.
The body of Amory resident Tommy Harlow, 50, was discovered beaten to death around 6:30 a.m. Sunday at his sister’s residence in Hamilton, 40021 Church Road. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department has a suspect in custody and will officially charge him with murder Monday morning.
The suspect’s name is not being released.
Harlow is believed to have died some time around midnight, according to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley.
Harlow’s body will be sent to the state medical examiner in Jackson on Tuesday for an autopsy.
