Amory police investigate shooting

AMORY – The Amory Police Department responded to a call concerning shots fired at a resident on I Avenue and 108th Street just after 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, according to a statement from the department.

Christopher Terry, 30, was found with a gunshot wound to his leg. Terry told officers that a man at the residence named Brittany Pack had shot him. Officers took Pack, 28, into custody.

Pack was injured by flying debris from the shots. He is currently being held at the Amory City Jail while the incident in being investigated. No charges have been filed at this time.

Terry was transported to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment.
