AMORY – A 42-year-old Amory woman was arrested last week for the sale of cocaine.
According to Monroe County Sheriff Andy Hood, the Monroe County Sheriff Department and agents with the North Ms. Narcotics Unit arrested Harriett Ezell of 407 109th Street, in the latest round of drug arrests.
She was arrested May 5 and charged with three counts of the sale of cocaine. The arrest was in a joint effort between the Amory Police Dept and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. More arrests are expected and the investigation is ongoing.
Ezell was arraigned in Monroe County Justice Court where Judge Kevin Crook set bond at $30,000.
