TUPELO – A familiar face is back by popular demand for Tuesday’s annual Northeast Mississippi Economic Forecast Conference.
Fred Barnes, co-founder and former executive editor of The Weekly Standard, is back. He spoke to the conference in 2009.
The other speakers are State Treasurer Lynn Fitch and Community Development Foundation Chairman Dr. David Irwin.
“We’re excited about our lineup of speakers this year,” said Tommy Green, the CDF’s vice president of the Chamber of Commerce. “They’ll provide perspectives about politics and the national, state and regional economies. We’re pleased to have such outstanding speakers.”
The conference begins with coffee and networking at 8:30 a.m. at the BancorpSouth Conference Center. The first speaker hits the stage at 9 a.m.
