FULTON – Timothy Pryer’s efforts to gain documents related to his sexual battery conviction were rejected Tuesday by the Mississippi Court of Appeals.
Pryer was convicted in 2005 in Itawamba County circuit court and sentenced to 20 years with 15 years to serve and five suspended. He also was required to register as a sex offender.
In June 2011, he filed a motion asking for court documents, but months later the court denied his motion, saying his requests were the same he made before.
The 10-0 decision affirms the earlier documents denial, saying there was “no reason to believe that any such documents exist.”
