In town and in the country,
Lee County residents were covered up in red, white and blue. In the Brewer community, the 20th annual Fourth of July Parade featured four-wheelers, tractors, horses and grandchildren and greatgrandchildren
from around the country. Tupelo’s Highland Circle Historic District honored founder Jeannie Lagrone before setting off for the Almost Annual Red-White-and-Blue USA Popsicle Parade. In Plantersville, the town celebrated the Fourth with a parade and a celebration in the park that included a softball game between the police and department departments and a fireworks show.
