Arrests made in connection to vehicle vandalism

TUPELO – Two arrests have been made in connection to vandalism of several vehicles.

Tupelo Police arrested Michael Hanger, 18, of Tupelo, and a juvenile. Hanger is charged with felony malicious mischief and had bond set at $10,000.

Police received complaints from residents all over the city about vehicles being vandalized with spray paint, including some with racial slurs. Approximately 20 vehicles have been reported damaged.

An eyewitness provided police with the suspects’ vehicle information, helping lead to the arrests.
