AT&T is working to fix cell phone service outages Monday caused by a cut fiber optic cable near Scooba, according to a company spokesperson.
The cut happened around 1 p.m., but no information is currently available about how it happened. No estimated time was available on when service would be fully restored.
Crews are working to fix issue now and have things back online as soon as possible. Outages have been reported in areas including Oxford, Pontotoc, Tupelo, Amory and Columbus, according to AT&T.
