CORINTH — Organizers say attendance at the Alcorn County Fair jumped 20 percent this year.

The Daily Corinthian reports about 8,400 people attended the 5-day event.

After a 12-year hiatus, the fair resumed in 2011. It was held this month at Crossroads Arena.

Big draws included the livestock show, a petting zoo and a lawn mower pull.
