CORINTH — The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals Service are searching for three inmates who escaped from the county jail by cutting through a fence.
Investigator Jerry Rogers said the prisoners left the jail some time between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Monday.
Rogers identified the escapees as Eric Hansen, Brian Knight and Casanova Damron.
Rogers tells The Daily Corinthian that Damron and Knight were both being held on armed robbery charges. Hansen was in jail for a probation violation.
