Baldwyn man charged with firing into vehicle

TUPELO – A Baldwyn man was charged with two counts of aggravated assault Wednesday.

The bond for Daniel Mark Mayo, 31, of Baldwyn, was set at $250,000 Thursday in the Lee County Justice Court.

Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson said Mayo was charged after allegedly firing into an occupied vehicle in the Pratts community last Wednesday following a domestic dispute.

Johnson said charges are also pending in Prentiss County, where the alleged dispute began.
