Circuit Judge Thomas Gardner sentenced him Thursday, adding five years to the sentence for violating supervised release program from a previous conviction.
For the sexual battery plea, the judge sentenced him to 30 years, 15 years suspended with five years post-release supervision and fines.
Gardner, 29, pleaded guilty in May 2010 to exposing a victim to HIV in violation of a health directive.
For the sexual battery conviction, Gardner must serve his sentence day-for-day. He must also register as a sex offender.
