Belden man sentenced on enticement charges

OXFORD – Nathan Stutsy, one of more than a dozen men charged in a child enticement sting operated out of Tupelo last year, was sentenced to 10 years in prison last Thursday.

Stutsy, 26, of Belden, was charged with enticement of a child for sexual purposes in February, 2013.

A trial was set for July 15 of last year, but Stutsy entered a plea of guilty on July 11.

After release Stutsy will serve five years of supervised release and is required to pay a $100 special assessment.

He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Mills in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District Mississippi in Oxford.
