Bicyclist’s death under investigation

OXFORD – It is yet to be determined whether a driver will face charges related to the death of a bicyclist west of Oxford last week.
Grady Bailey of Greenwood was driving east around 10 a.m. Friday when he slammed into Kevser
Ermin, 27, on Highway 314 (Old Sardis Road). Ermin, a native of Turkey, had been working on a doctorate in health and kinesiology at the University of Mississippi.
Trooper Joseph Miller of the Mississippi Highway Patrol said Monday that accident reconstruction research on the site is expected to be conducted today. Bailey had refused breath and blood toxicology tests, Miller said.
