Bigger recycling bins in Tupelo available to first 500

By NEMS Daily Journal

TUPELO – The city has partnered with Waste Management in a pilot program that will give free, 96-gallon recycling bins to the first 500 residents who apply.
The bins are much larger than the ones currently provided to Tupelo residents through the existing curbside recycling program.
Applicants must complete a form available on the city’s website (www.tupeloms.gov) or at the Tupelo Water & Light Collection Office at 320 Court St.
After the program’s application process is complete, Waste Management will deliver a bin to each home registered to receive one.
