BIZ BUZZ BLOG: Comcast says service restored

Comcast says all services have been restored as of our conversation with a company spokesperson at 2:55 p.m. on Monday.

Service was out for approximately 5 to 6 hours Monday.

Otha Brandon, Comcast spokesperson, said a garbage truck inadvertently cut a third party vendor fiber south of Iuka on Highway 25 Monday morning.

“We responded as quickly as we could to help restore the fiber,” said Brandon.
