Biz Buzz Blog: Frozen custard shop coming to Tupelo

By Biz Buzz Blog

Biz Buzz has learned that the new business going in next to the Gap Outlet on North Gloster will be Bop’s Frozen Custard. According to Jeff Barnes, general manager of the Mall at Barnes Crossing, Bop’s will have a drive through and inside seating.BOPS

We were not able to reach the owner but learned from the company’s website that Bop’s has 12 locations throughout the state including Oxford and Starkville.

No word yet on when the shop will open. We can assure though, any place that offers a sundae with hot fudge, caramel and roasted pecans (the Snappy Turtle) will be on our radar.

From the company’s Web site
Custard is an old-fashioned ice cream treat created in 1919 on Coney Island, New York. It is made with all natural ingredients with no preservatives or artificial ingredients.

Bop’s offers high-quality frozen custard and an excellent variety of premium frozen custard delights, including cones, shakes, and sundaes, in a clean, family-oriented environment and offers exceptional service to customers.

Bop’s Frozen Custard opened our first store in Jackson, Mississippi in November 2000.
