BIZ BUZZ BLOG UPDATES: Restaurant inspections and more

Inspections: Shockley’s, Vanelli’s, Ms. Ruth’s 5/21/12

The state Department of Health regularly inspects restaurants and food facilities.

The facilities are graded from A to C. “A” is the best. “C” is the equivalent of failing, but the inspection isn’t bad enough to merit the closure of the restaurant. Any restaurant with a C gets a follow-up visit within 10 days.

The following Lee County facilities were inspected between 5/14 and today.
