BIZ BUZZ: Department of Health food inspections and more

By Carlie Kollath/NEMS Daily Journal

Inspections: Stables, Tellini’s & Papa V’s 4/30/12
The state Department of Health regularly inspects restaurants and food facilities.

The facilities are graded from A to C. “A” is the best. “C” is the equivalent of failing, but the inspection isn’t bad enough to merit the closure of the restaurant. Any restaurants with a C get a follow-up visit within 10 days.

The following Lee County facilities were inspected between 4/20 and today.

— A’s —

Nettleton High
Plantersville School
Shannon Elementary
Shannon High
Joyner School
