Board OKs Klan rally at courthouse on March 26

By NEMS Daily Journal

CORINTH – Alcorn County supervisors on Monday approved an application from the Mississippi White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan to hold a rally on the courthouse grounds.
The group filed the county’s standard “use of Courthouse and/or Courthouse Grounds” request form which asked for use of the premises for a Klan rally noon-2 p.m. March 26.
Since there was no schedule conflict, the board approved the request, which will be limited to the courthouse steps and grounds, said county attorney Bob Krohn.
