Bond set for suspect in Tupelo shooting

A man accused of shooting a woman last week in Tupelo had his bond set at $1 million.

Leonard Brown’s bond was set by a Lee County Justice Court judge Tuesday.

Brown, 28, who has a Verona address but is from Attala County, is accused of shooting a 22-year-old woman multiple times on West Main Street. The woman is being treated at North Mississippi Medical Center.
