Booneville man charged with possession of meth

BOONEVILLE – A Booneville man was charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute Tuesday.

Prentiss County Narcotics investigators, deputies and North Mississippi Narcotics investigators charged Randy Jeffery Crabb, 37, of Booneville, with possession of meth with intent to distribute as well as possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He is awaiting bond in the Prentiss County Jail and is also under a hold from the Mississippi Department of Corrections where he was on post-release supervision.

The charges are a result of a multiple-month investigation and the execution of search warrants in the northeast Prentiss County community of New Hope.
