Booneville man sentenced in cocaine ring involvement

ABERDEEN – A Booneville man has been sentenced for his involvement in a cocaine and marijuana distribution ring.

Marty Lambert, 44, of Booneville, was sentenced Feb. 13 to 88 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

He was charged in December 2012, along with nine other people, in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana throughout the northeast Mississippi region.

Lambert is the eighth of 10 to be sentenced for their involvement in the ring.
