Booneville teen dies in morning crash

Prentiss County Stock ImageBOONEVILLE – A Booneville teenager died in a one-car crash on 9th Street on Wednesday morning.
Booneville Police Chief Michael Ramey said they were called to the crash at 7:58 a.m. where Brittany Nicole Willis, 16, had been ejected from the vehicle.
Ramey said it appears she lost control of the vehicle, struck a culvert, flipped multiple times and during which she was ejected.
Ramey said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.

      She was late on her way ti GED class at northeast she drove fast regularly she did not text and drive and she did not ware her seatbelt regularly she was my best friend i know this personally

    Brittany was my best friend she was the sweetest girl you could ever meet till you made her mad she had a goal to get her GED and be a pedeatrishion she often drove above the speed limit and rarely wore her seat belt….she does not text and drive ever! I love her like a sister she was my other half she was known for her love to tease her hair she kept it poofed to the max i miss her dearly i dont know how we will make it without her
