TISHOMINGO – A seat left vacant when longtime Tishomingo Alderman Michael D. Hale died earlier this month will be filled with a special election set for June 20.
The filing deadline for anyone wishing to run for this office is Wednesday. The winner will fill the remainder of Hale’s four-year term, to which he was re-elected last year.
The 45-year-old had served as alderman for 17 years. He died at his home May 5.
