TUPELO – A veteran Tupelo hospital leader is taking a new position at a Texas hospital.
Laura Brower, vice president for professional and support services at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo, will become the chief nursing officer at Methodist Health System in San Antonio. A nurse by training, Brower joined NMMC in 1987.
The Methodist Health System has 24 facilities including seven acute care hospitals; three ambulatory surgery centers; separate children’s and transplant hospitals; and a neurosciences institute.
Also in San Antonio is Dr. Ken Davis, who served as the chief medical officer for North Mississippi Health Services. He is the chief medical officer at Methodist.
