TUPELO – A group of local organizations and business leaders is working on plans to help the family of fallen Tupelo Police Sgt. Kevin “Gale” Stauffer by performing maintenance on the Stauffer home.

The group, which calls itself “Build for Beth,” announced in a release they will make sure the family, “will be able to stay in their current home for years to come without the hassles of dealing with the leaky roof, the window that doesn’t open or a house that will not be able to meet the needs of Beth and her two children down the road.”

The group will announce official project plans Friday at 1 p.m. at 1123 Woodlawn Street in Tupelo.
