Burnsville arson suspect charged, others arrested

IUKA – A Burnsville man was arrested Wednesday by the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department and charged with two counts of arson for fires at his own home.
Dale Peters, 55, was arrested based on evidence gathered at the scene of a shop fire and a home fire at his residence, said a sheriff’s
department spokesman.
On Wednesday, the sheriff’s department also made three more arrests from recent grand jury indictments:
• Brad Mock, 27, of Iuka, on a charge of aggravated assault.
• Tracy Knauer, 35, of Burnsville, for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
• Joshua Williams, 24, of Alcorn County, for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Arraignment of the suspects is scheduled for June 26 in Tishomingo County Circuit Court.
