B&G Club looking to find jobs for kids

By NEMS Daily Journal

NEW ALBANY – Jennifer Jones and the Boys & Girls Club in New Albany are looking to place teens in jobs this summer.
Jones is going door to door, continuing her work as a “community angel” and helping kids.
She’s looking for businesses looking to hire them part-time or full-time, as well as anyone who wants to pay them to do small jobs.
Jones said restaurants, convenience stores and other shops are ideal employers. She also said kids could make money doing car washes and yard work.
“We’re doing this for kids who want to work and make a little money so they can buy their own things,” Jones said. “Every little bit helps.”
