TUPELO – Owners of small and mid-size business can pick up tips on marketing at a free 90-minute workshop May 24 at the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal.
Leading the workshop is John Lindsey, the training and development manager at Journal Inc., the parent of the Daily Journal. He has led marketing workshops for thousands of business owners across the U.S. and Canada during the past 24 years.
“Some businesses are struggling a little, and it’s very important that they find ways to generate more business,” he said. “We’ll be talking about the principles of advertising and marketing, learning about hot to promote your business.”
Lindsey said the workshop isn’t going to be a sales pitch to businesses for them to advertise with the Daily Journal.
“We’ll be talking about all mediums – TV, radio, newspaper, online,” he said. “While it’s going to be at the Daily Journal, it’s not going to be about the Daily Journal.”
