Grain futures higher, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 7.50 cents to $6.4775 a bushel; December corn rose 7.25 cents to $4.6825 a bushel; December oats were 6 cents lower at $3.1950 a bushel; while November soybeans rose .25 cent to $13.6775 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose .45 cent to $1.2567 a pound; October feeder cattle was .78 cent lower at $1.5802 a pound; while October lean hogs were 1.50 cents higher at $.9090 a pound.
