OXFORD – Oxford-based High Point Coffee has closed its two coffee shops in Memphis, according to a media report.
According to Richard Alley, a freelance writer for the Commercial Appeal, High Point Coffee CEO Thomas Blanche said he closed his two Memphis locations on Wednesday. Blanche said he sold the location on the Oxford Square “a while back.” He didn’t provide details about the location by Belk.
Blanche told the Memphis paper he plans to keep the roasting facility in Oxford and wholesale the coffee online.
Blanche declined to comment further about the situation to the Daily Journal.
