HOMEGROWN: Pizza Factory

By NEMS Daily Journal

Pizza Factory owner Tim Webb has been in the pizza business for about 40 years. He started as a dishwasher and worked for several years opening restaurants for a pizza chain.
His restaurant is a staple in Baldwyn, occupying the same A-frame building for 27 years. He’s added onto the building three times.
“I’d like to add on again, but I’m out of room,” he said.
His son, Jeff Webb, runs the daily operations.
The restaurant offers thin crust and pan pizza with a variety of toppings and sauces, including creamy garlic ranch sauce. Pizza Factory’s signature sandwich is the smokestack – six different varieties of sandwiches wrapped in pizza dough and baked in the oven.
Pizza Factory also has a salad bar and offers dine-in and carry-out orders. It is bustling at dinner and lunch. The lunch special – $3.95 for a mini pizza and salad bar – draws a crowd, Webb said.
