AMORY – Tire City Inc., formerly Wheel City, was opened in October 1994 by Richard Murry.

In 2007, the stores separated. NowTire City carries new and used tires. The business carries brands such as Toyo, Cooper, Hankook, Kelly, Summitt and National. Tire City also has access to most tire brands, including Kumho, BFG and Michelin.

Tire City also carries a wide variety of tubes for lawn, all-terrain vehicles, cars and trucks. A selection of lawn tires is in stock and ATV tires can be ordered.

In addition to selling tires, the business does tire repairs, rotations, oil changes, brakes, state inspections, tint and tint certificates.

The current owner, Harryette Oliver Gosa, started work there in September 1997 as a secretary. In September 2008, she purchased Tire City and became owner, manager and secretary.
