Lane Bryant to open at King’s Crossing

TUPELO – Lane Bryant is set to open a second store in Tupelo.
The plus-size women’s apparel retailer has signed a lease for a 4,867-square-foot space at the King’s Crossing shopping center, according to Kornel Romada, a leasing agent with The Woodmont Co., which owns King’s Crossing.
Lane Bryant already has a 5,119-square-foot store inside The Mall at Barnes Crossing. According to Darlene Koval in the real estate division of Lane Bryant’s parent company, Charming Shoppes, she said the company has plans to “keep both open until further notice.”
The new store is being built between apparel retailer Maurices and furniture and home decor retailer Kirkland’s, which moved out of the mall earlier this year. Koval said Lane Bryant is expected to open in late October or early November.
Officials at the mall were unavailable for comment Monday.
