MISSY RORIE of New Albany, a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North Mississippi Medical Center Women’s Hospital, was selected as NMMC’s employee of the month for March.
Rorie earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College and has been a registered nurse for 22 years. In addition, she is a Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor, certified in pediatric advanced life support and trained in peripherally inserted central catheter placement.
DR RICHARD CARON , a dentist with Tupelo Smiles Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, completed the comprehensive continuing dental education program offered by the Kois Center in Seattle. The nine-course curriculum requires more than 200 hours of continuing education encompassing all clinical areas of dentistry including gums, teeth, bite problems, cosmetics and implants involving both lecture and hands-on training.
Caron, an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, has practiced Ddentistry in Tupelo for the past 23 years. He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Mississippi’s School of Dentistry.
