Dr. J. Kevin Holman had been installed as the first vice president of the Mississippi Dental Association.
Born and raised in Jackson, Holman is a 1990 graduate of UMMC School of Dentistry. After dental school, he served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps during Operations Desert Shield, Storm and Calm. He also completed an AEGD residency at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana and then served as a dental officer at Robins AFB in Georgia.
He completed orthodontic training at Case Western Reserve University and has been in the specialty practice of orthodontics for 14 years in Tupelo.

Janie Lee of Tupelo has successfully completed the requirements as a certified internal auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Lee is the manager of the North Mississippi Health Services systems and auditing department. She joined NMHS as a staff accountant in 1983 and transferred to systems and auditing as a staff auditor in 1989. She was promoted to manager in 2006.
She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.

Ronnie Johnson, Bill Howell, James Webb and Tony Barkley have been named winners of Lane Furniture’s Top Drawer Performance awards.
These awards are given through Lane’s parent company, Furniture Brands International.
They are among 42 Furniture Brands International employees nationwide who were given the award and each will receive $1,000.

Dr. Brad Crosswhite has been selected by his peers as chief resident of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency Center.
Crosswhite, a native of Amory, graduated summa cum laude from David Lipscomb University in Nashville with a bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish.
He received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, where he graduated magna cum laude.
As chief resident, Crosswhite serves as the residents’ representative to the faculty, providing an avenue for the residents to express concerns and ideas on all aspects of the program. The chief resident is responsible for teaching fellow residents and students, providing assistance in administrative functions of the program, designing and implementing the residents’ monthly call schedule and assisting in recruitment.
