– Jason Harris earned a Masters Award for 2008 sales production from Century 21 Real Estate LLC.
Harris is a sales associate with Century 21 Sue Gardner Realty in Tupelo.
He earned the ruby level Masters Award after becoming one of Century 21’s top producers nationwide.
– Buddy Coggins of Century 21 Sue Gardner Realty received a Century 21 Quality Service Producer award, which recognizes customer service.
Coggins has 11 years of experience in real estate. He has been with the Century 21 system for four years.
– Don Richey, general manager for Comcast in Tupelo and northern Mississippi since September 2007, was promoted to vice president and general manager.
Richey now also supervises Comcast systems serving northern Alabama, including Huntsville, Florence, Tuscaloosa and Gadsden. He will continue to oversee the northern Mississippi systems in West Point, Okolona, Fulton and Corinth. He also will continue to be based in Tupelo.
Richey began his career in the cable industry nearly 40 years ago as an installer and was promoted to technical services manager and later general manger. He joined the Comcast southern division after serving as regional manager for Comcast in Aurora, Ind.
Before joining Comcast, he worked for Time Warner Cable in Anniston, Ala., where he won recognition for customer service and increasing the customer base.
Richey earned an Associate’s Degree in business and management from Central City Business Institute in Syracuse, N.Y.
– Tupelo City Council members Nettie Davis, Berdell Jones and Bill Martin recently graduated from the Certified Municipal League Official’s basic program sponsored by the Mississippi Municipal League.
The basic CMO certification is earned after a participant completes a minimum of 60 hours of training provided by the MML over two years.
