William B. Howard Jr., president of William Howard & Co. Financial Advisors Inc., received the 2009 Memphis Executive of the Year award from the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
Howard is a Pontotoc native.
The award is given annually by the Memphis chapter and the selection process is based on a nomination letter outlining the award criteria of the executive. The award criteria consists of professional accomplishments, career tenure, civic/community involvement and support of professional development of the administrative professional career.

Wynn Coley was chosen as Franklin Collection Service Inc.’s employee of the month for November.
Wynn has been employed at Franklin for almost two years in accounts receivable.

Jeff Glover has been promoted to vice president at BB&T. Glover, who joined the bank in 2005, is an operations division manager in BB&T’s exception statement services department.
The Tupelo native earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
