OXFORD – Volunteers are needed to help with a backlog of tasks at Camp Lake Stephens due to a serious illness in a staff member’s family.
Several area United Methodist Church congregations have done gardening, landscaping, electrical work and other tasks to help ready the camp for summer sessions. The Rev. Eugene Bramlett Jr. said among the jobs yet unclaimed are splitting firewood, rebuilding a donated horse trailer into a recycling trailer, sodding and some carpentry work.
Anyone who can help is asked to call Bramlett at (662) 832-6616
