Charming Charlie opens today in Tupelo

TUPELO – Women’s fashion accessory store Charming Charlie opens today at The Mall at Barnes Crossing, across from Bath amp& Body Works in the space previously occupied by Abercrombie amp& Fitch.
Hours, starting today, will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
“The main thing is we are set up by color,” said Alexia Miller, new store opening general manager. “You go to that area and find what matches your outfit. It makes it a little easier.”
In Tupelo, the purple jewelry is up front, near the teal accessories. The store also has pink, brown, black, gold, red, green and other color areas.
Plus, it has a section for special occasion jewelry, such as tiaras for proms and weddings.
Prices start at $5 and top out at $50.
The store sells pierced earrings, clip-on earrings, bracelets, necklaces, purses, wallets, scarves, hair accessories, gift items, shoes, hats, belts, sunglasses and other sparkly baubles for females.
“We really have something for everyone’s style,” Miller said. “We don’t really have a target customer, just women.”
The Texas-based chain also has a special section for pre-teens and has a red and purple section that Miller said is popular with the Red Hat ladies.
The Tupelo store has about 25 employees.
The phone number is (662) 840-0515.
