Child injured after fall from second story

CORINTH – A 21-month-old child that fell from a second-story window Monday morning apparently suffered no serious injuries, but was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis for further evaluation.
Clarence Grisham V, son of Heather Kennedy and Clarence Grisham of Buchanan Street, was transported by ambulance to Magnolia Regional Health Center after the fall with reportedly minor injuries, said Police Chief David Lancaster.
The incident appeared to be an accident in which the child’s grandfather, who lives at the same address, may have fallen asleep with a window open and the child crawled through.
A call to Le Bonheur on Tuesday afternoon was returned by spokeswoman Hillary Adams, who said the family asked that no information be released.
